The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few…

Or the one – except when the “one” is an eight-month-old grandson here for his first week-long visit sans parents. Have babies always been this high-maintenance?!

Anyway, that’s how I’m justifying the delay in announcing the giveaway winner. That and severe sleep deprivation since Captain Mal hasn’t mastered the art of sleeping through the night yet.

In return, I put the young man to work selecting the winner of a signed ARC of FORTY & OUT. Instead of numbering entries or using Randomizer (which I have yet to figure out), I listed eachdrawing the winner 080414 name, assigned letters A-B-C, then tossed Scrabble tiles into a bowl and let Captain Mal pull one out. Before the tile made it to his mouth (as everything does these days), I saw the winning letter was H.

H on the master list corresponds to…drumroll, please…TuiSnider – congratulations! I’ll drop you an email so you can send me your snail mail address, then I’ll send off the signed ARC and a few other goodies as soon as my copies arrive from the publisher (any day now).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and commented! If you missed your chance to enter for this ARC, or you entered and you’re not TuiSnider, click on over to Goodreads for another opportunity. Two weeks and three days till the preview at Killer Nashville, and only four weeks to the official launch date of September 1st – my To-do lists are multiplying!
